Infantilisation of Society = Increased Male Suicide Rate

Check out this piece by Bill Powell on male suicide and you will see that there is a positive correlation between delayed adulthood and suicide:

The reasons why the number of men taking their own lives has risen in recent years are far from clear. All of the proposed explanations share a common feature –the changing role of men in society (Emphasis mine).
  • Adolescence has been prolonged, with adulthood and independence reached at a much later age than previously. Two generations ago, work began at the age of 14; one generation ago at 16 years for most; now many men only achieve financial independence in their mid to late 20s.
This means that those who seek to molly-coddle individual men, as well as people who infantilise society (e.g. having colour coded labelling on foodstuffs like when you got gold stars and red cards in primary school), are actually, actively encouraging men to commit suicide.  You can see the results of low level infantilisation in certain mental pathologies, such as Avoidant Personality Disorder, who are reported to behave immaturely.  This is another element, strain, of the culture which is hostile towards men, to the point of being pathological; and obviously no society can survive for more than 75-100 years (the length of a human life) without perishing and becoming dust.

How to remedy this situation?  Firstly, treat infants as infants, treat boys as boys, and treat men as men; secondly, allow, enable or facilitate mental and physical adulthood (puberty) to occur near-simultaneously (i.e. confer adult rights to adult men).
