This post is here to demonstrate the creative Will in man and what he can achieve with even the most rudimentary of materials. Creativity can make just about anything using just about anything. A man with creativity doesn't need to use specific materials for specific ends, like using wood to make a door, or use metal to make a car, or fossil fuels to make energy. He can use any material that he wants because he is not limited/constrained by preconceptions. For example he can make a house out of bales of straw, rather than bricks; he can make a bicycle out of bamboo, rather than steel; and he can make a ship out of ice rather than steel; and so on. In short he is free, free to express his Will as best as he can using whatever material he has close to hand. Ergo he can use even the most dullest and maligned of materials, concrete, to create some aesthetically pleasing and useful items.
In the living room, we are thoroughly impressed by the fireplace surround constructed entirely of concrete.
A concrete desk
ProtoType concrete lamp and LEDs of minimalist design.
When you get home, just empty your pockets in this great concrete bowl
Clock hand-casted from ultra high performance concrete.
P.S. Yes, if you want to pick hairs it was only 11 uses for concrete and not 101, but hopefully you get the gist of what I'm driving at: men can use any material to create what they want; and also that concrete has many uses other than as a boring building material.
