Alternative Lyrics to Well Known Songs 36 - Sol's Corona

(Based on the hit single 'My Sharona' by 'The Knack')


An astronomical themed alternative lyrics... post this week courtesy of my muse  (I sure as heck couldn't come up with these ideas, and someone has to).  It's deals with a few topics related to our sun (or indeed any sun/star):

• The corona - that strange white aura that emanates from the sun (our sun and every other sun)
• Coronal Mass Ejections (or CME's for all your jargon junkies) - eruptions of plasma that cause solar winds.
• Solar Winds - plasma that flows out from the sun.  We humans see the solar winds when they hit the upper atmosphere and cause the aurora borealis (aka the Northern Lights).
• Solar activity effects human behaviour - the sun has an effect on the physical and mental health of living organisms.

Of course we wouldn't know about any of these phenomena or any other astronomical phenomena if it wasn't for men.  Astronomers, like mathematicians and physicists, are pretty much all men.  It's men that deal with the hard sciences, studying the underlying laws and mechanisms that the universe operates on.  This in turn allows other men (engineers and those of a practical bent) to modify the world and shape it according to their Will, for their own betterment and more often than not the betterment of others.
