Havamal Snippets 35: Never overstay your welcome

It's Wednesday (Woden/Odin's Day) which means that it's time for another verse from the Havamal 'Sayings of the High One - Odin'. The poem full of wisdom, both everyday and ethereal. (The poem can be found in full HERE):
35. A guest should depart,
not always stay
in one place.
The welcome becomes unwelcome,
if he too long continues
in another’s house.

Never overstay your welcome, whatever the time frame (a few minute conversation, an evening socialising, a day with friends, a week with family.

[End.]
